Christmas Greetings Heart of Mary Family,
As the last days of Advent guided us ever closer to Bethlehem's door, we at Heart Of Mary want to take this time to ponder on this season.
First let us acknowledge this has been a difficult year. We need to acknowledge there are seasons when things don't look the way we thought they should be, when things really were hard, when challenges seemed never ending, but oh look to his mercies!
It was in a world of darkness Jesus made his entrance. Into a world full of darkness he came to bring us HOPE. His Mercies are truly fresh every morning, small as might seem, we count our blessings.
God in his infinite mercy takes what we offer him than uses them to soften our hearts, soften our thoughts and brings things into his perspective. Difficult things happen, seasons come and go but even in our sorrows there is HIS word, God is close to the broken hearted.
We acknowledge its been a difficult year but we also acknowledge as long as we go with HIM, we don't need to fear the future because Christ is already there to greet us.
And as long as we have each other we are not alone, we are one in Christ and that brings us to Christmas.
Together let us pray these words;
"Lord, make my heart your Bethlehem." let your Bethlehem be born in me, Let your Love be born in me. Let your light shine in me. Let your Life reside in me. May the light that broke forth in a manger, break forth in our hearts and our families and shine out into the world.
